Circle member statuses

We use a point system to determine your Circle membership status. Your status reflects your current subscription activity with Squarespace and can change over time. As you take more actions, you earn points and unlock more benefits. Learn more about Circle member statuses.

To help maintain consistency and accuracy when discussing the Squarespace brand, we ask that you follow the guidelines below.
Advertise Circle membership
You can advertise or externally market that you're part of Squarespace Circle on your website, marketing materials, social media profiles, and in conversations with prospective clients.
Visual assets
When using visual assets on your website, marketing materials, and social channels:
- You can use the official, unaltered Squarespace Circle badges.
- You may not publish Squarespace’s logo.
- You may not publish any images or screenshots from squarespace.com or our products without the approval of Squarespace Circle.
- You may not include quotes from Squarespace executives or team members without specific approval from Squarespace Circle.
Press releases
To distribute a press release about your status as a Squarespace Circle member, we encourage you to share it on your own channels, such as your website, blog, or social media profiles.
If you prefer to release the news using a wire service:
- Email the Circle team (circle@squarespace.com) to at least 48 hours ahead of publication. You may share the draft copy if you have questions or concerns about approved language.
- The press release needs to be issued solely by you or your agency as an individual Circle member. It may not be framed as a co-promotion or joint release with Squarespace.
- Refer to Squarespace as “Squarespace, the design-driven platform helping brands and businesses get online and grow.”
- Approved messaging for Circle can be found in Getting started with Squarespace Circle. If you have questions about what is approved, please contact the Circle team (circle@squarespace.com).
- You can't refer to yourself as an exclusive Squarespace partner or state that Squarespace is in an exclusive partnership with your business. Terms like "certified by Squarespace," "official partner," or "approved by Squarespace" aren't allowed.
If you have any questions or concerns about our recommended brand guidelines, contact the Circle team at circle@squarespace.com or Squarespace’s External Communications team at comms-all@squarespace.com.
